I thank you for your time to come and check out my web-link. I am a biochemist by training and a passionate photographer since my early teens. I can relate my journey to Ansel Adams favorite quotes " I tried to keep both arts alive, but the camera won. I found that while the camera does not express the soul, perhaps a photograph can!".
I still remember my first ever experience holding my uncle's Nikon FM2, which was pretty serious camera among wedding photographers in mid 80's. Ever since I was obsessed with Nikon SLR's. I have assisted my uncle with shooting Indian weddings in the city of Mumbai in India also known as Bollywood; enjoyed capturing moments with happy people full of energy and emotions. The knowledge of light, exposure and composition was immensely helpful during my post-doctoral research years studying protein expressions in sub-cellular compartments of cells using Fluorescent probes under confocal microscopes and high content imagers.
My love for shooting weddings was re-ignited by my great friends and fellow photographers Jules Markowitz and Norman Levinson, they both had illustrious careers in wedding photography in Philadelphia area. They shared almost two generations of their experience with me for creating awe-inspiring imagery. I shot local events, weddings with them and I soon realized my love with shooting weddings and events with Nikons has grown deeper and seem like a never ending relation. Even after years of being away from professional affairs; I never felt I missed any aspect of wedding and people photography, in fact it was there all along with me. I am passionate about every aspect of lifestyle and wedding photography. It is nice to get inspired by others but one need to develop their own style, as we all are unique as persons. Our thoughts, creativity and artistry needs to be reflected in every shot of ours.
I shoot limited affairs as I want to make sure the quality and eye for perfection is maintained in every assignment of mine, it is reflected in the albums and final prints for my clients. The main goal is to keep the trust and respect shown by my clients to hire my services. I just want to give you the memories of your life time but I want to stay in your memories for generations to come.
I will not sell you on words like photo-journalistic style, boutique style and all the catchy buzz words currently used in the industry. My goal is to freeze timeless moments that stays with us lifelong; it is vivid combination of photo-journalism and being aware of today's trends and fashion. I thrive on change and creative uniqueness; I believe in creating happy, emotional, and organic images that are timeless and portray unique things about your wedding day. I want to make sure every time you open your album; your heart will be full of joy, savoring the timeless moments of your special day.
I thank you for taking time to read my bio, If you like my work I know that you will email me. I love what I do and enjoy every moment of it, as for me it is all about sharing my creative vision, trust and positive energy with my clients. I am based out of Philadelphia and open for a destination wedding. Your trust & happiness means a lot to me.
Wishing you Happiness,
